What is the difference between Level I and Level II?
Level I is a standard visual evaluation of readily accessible components. Level II goes further by using an internal camera/video scan of accessible flue or liner surfaces where applicable and includes more detailed documentation. Customers should not expect a Level I inspection to provide the same internal flue evaluation as a Level II inspection.
Do I receive photos or a written report?
Findings are documented and explained to the customer. Photos may be taken when appropriate, and written documentation or an inspection report may be provided depending on the service scheduled and the conditions found. Level II inspections include additional documentation associated with the more detailed evaluation.
Will chimney sweeping make a mess in my home?
We use professional equipment and containment procedures designed to control soot, dust and debris in the work area. Access conditions vary, but protecting the surrounding area is part of the service process.
